In response to the government’s directive to limit mass gatherings due to Coronavirus, the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames has cancelled all events and group activities on council-owned land until further notice. This means that Ham Fair cannot take place on Saturday 13 June.
Our hope is that Ham Fair can be held at a later date this year and, with that aim, Richmond Council has given a provisional date of Saturday 12 September.
Stallholders who had previously booked for June have been emailed and asked if they can make the new date or require a refund (if payment has already been made for June).
The September date is still subject to the Council’s approval that events such as Ham Fair can take place, and we will update this website once we receive confirmation that it can take place on Saturday 12 September.

General terms and conditions
Equipment – all stallholders must provide their own gazebo’s, awning, tables, chairs, etc.
No electricity or water is available at Ham Fair; power must be provided by stallholders’ diesel generators (as quiet as possible) or LPG (no petrol generators allowed).
Stall sharing – if you wish to share a stall with another trader/friend to save costs, this is acceptable, but this must be arranged between yourselves. Please only return one application form to us and advise if you wish to receive one or two invoices for the pitch cost.
Vehicles on Ham Common: only commercial food vans are allowed to remain on the Common during Ham Fair; all other stall-holders must remove their cars/vans once they have set-up their stall (no later than 10:30 a.m.) and only return to load-up at the end of the day (no earlier than 4:30 p.m.); there is plenty of free road parking on surrounding streets; traffic wardens issued tickets for some illegally parked cars during Ham Fair 2019 – so you’ve been warned!
