Stallholder information

Ham Fair – provisional date – sat 11 sept 2021

In response to the government’s directive to limit mass gatherings due to Coronavirus, the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames has cancelled all events and group activities on council-owned land until further notice.

In view of the latest and on-going Covid developments it is with a heavy heart that the organisers have had to decide to postpone this year’s Fair to Saturday 11 September.

Stallholders who had booked and paid for 2020 will be emailed to ask if they would like us to retain their booking and pitch fee for Sat 11 September 2021 (subject to any Covid restrictions which apply at the time). If you prefer to receive a refund email hamfair@gmail.com, giving  your/stall name; how and where payment should be made. You will then have to re-apply for a stall using the application forms.

Application Forms – for new stall-holders

Will be available to download from this site immediately Richmond Council give the official go-ahead for September events to take place.

Stall-holder rates have been frozen for 2021:

Charity – £35

Ice-cream vans – £110

Reduced rates apply for regular stallholders at the monthly Ham Parade Market .
We will verify applications with the organiser of the market.

General terms and conditions

Equipment – all stallholders must provide their own gazebo’s, awning, tables, chairs, etc. All must adhere to Covid restrictions as stated by the Council at the time of the event.

No electricity or water is available at Ham Fair; power must be provided by stallholders’ diesel generators (as quiet as possible) or LPG (no petrol generators allowed).

Vehicles on Ham Common: only commercial food vans are allowed to remain on the Common during Ham Fair; all other stall-holders must remove their cars/vans once they have set-up their stall (no later than 10:30 a.m.) and only return to load-up at the end of the day (no earlier than 4:30 p.m.); there is plenty of free road parking on surrounding streets; traffic wardens issued tickets for some illegally parked cars during Ham Fair 2019 – so you’ve been warned!
